Training and Accreditations

My first training was as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, studying at the Northern Guild for Psychotherapy in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK. I then progressed to the Psychotherapy training, and over a five-year period gained a Diploma in Psychotherapy with a distinction. Alongside my training and through my personal therapy with a Jungian Oriented Psychotherapist, I began to develop a deep association with the practices and principles of Carl Jung. I studied his work in a formal group setting for many years alongside my training. Upon qualification I gained accreditation with UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and GPsyC (General Psychotherapy Practice)

I continue my path, incorporating A Jungian-oriented philosophy. My approach is rooted in the work of Carl Jung and his theories about the unconscious, archetypes, individuation, and the integration of the shadow. I have undertaken group training with a Jungian Orientated Psychotherapist. I continue with formal CPD training sessions at the C.J. Jung Institute in Zurich.
